Nonprofit agencies exist for the purpose of serving the interests of members of the community who need help and have few alternatives for obtaining it. These agencies and their staff serve a valuable, necessary, and commendable role in our society. They ensure that the underrepresented and disadvantaged have resources available to address their needs.

The lawyers in the firm support these efforts and have many years of experience in the representation of such nonprofit agencies. The firms’ clients provide services to the community in such important arenas as foster family placement and parenting, services to the disabled, treatment of abused children, mental health clinics, substance abuse programs, and  services to the homeless, among many others.

The firm has ongoing relationships with many nonprofits and is experienced in handling matters on their behalf, including employment law counseling, training, and litigation; counseling and litigation involving claims of errors and omissions arising from the carrying out of the agencies’ mission; regulatory, licensing, and other business consultation services.

We are proud of our relationship with, and representation of, our nonprofit agency clients and look forward to continuing our mission to serve them.
